jhimm and dave met when jhimm's former band, Scissorkiss, hired dave as the audio engineer for their final two albums. by
the time that SK had to disband, jhimm and dave had already begun discussing a creative endeavor of their own.
after a few fits and starts attempting to include a handful of other musicians, jhimm and dave decided to stick to the power duo approach, and (lisp) was born.
